Black Friday
WHAT: The monster shopping event, imported from the US, hits Greece again this Friday. On Black Friday, leading retail chains and shops throughout the country will slash their prices for 24 hours in a bid to get us to splash the cash in the lead up to Christmas. Why is it called Black Friday? Well, because it’s the day that retailers often “move into the black” after their massive sales spike. But be warned, things can get a bit hot under the collar as frantic bargain-crazed shoppers compete to bag the best deals. Our advice: load up with a hearty breakfast before you brave the enormous queues and do as much research in advance as possible to refine your search and save valuable time “in the field”!
WHEN: November 29
WHERE: You can visit this website to find out which Greek stores are participating in Black Friday 2019. It’s not a definitive guide, but it’ll help get you off to a good start!
