WHAT’S ON: Last week, Michael Werner Gallery opened its doors in Athens, signalling the city’s ascendant role in the global art scene.
Designed by Mare Studio and helmed by Maximos Stergiou, this stunning new gallery boasts three exhibition rooms in an elegant flat near the Museum of Cycladic Art and will feature two shows a year. With the addition of Michael Werner’s gallery, the city is solidifying its status as a rising art capital and a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts worldwide.
