WHAT:  Pericles’ Funeral Oration, delivered in 431 BC to honour those who had died in the Peloponnesian war, has long been considered as one of history’s great political speeches. The statesman’s rhetorical masterpiece, an ode to Athens and her achievements, will be performed in English at the Katakouzenos residence.

WHEN: 28 February, 2019 at 19:30, museum will open at 19:15.
