WHAT: In her first solo exhibition in her native Greece, Stella Kapenzou explores an imaginary world of symbols and stereotypes, depicting an eternal quest for happiness through superficial affluence in colorful and somewhat amusing scenes that each hold a unique tinge of irony.

Following two successful solo exhibitions in London and several awards, Kapenzou presents her first solo show to the Athenian public in an attempt to have her art serve as a reflection of a collective memory that characterized the social reality for years. “Brit Pond”, which opens at the Evripidis Gallery in Athens, is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 11.a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge.

WHEN: To June 30
